Finally Potty Trained-Mostly!

We are so excited to announte that our Big Boy Bryce is FINALLY potty trained! We were having the hardest time getting him to even sit on the potty, little alone actually do something while he was sitting there. We tried everything, from toys to sticker charts to treats. Nothing worked. Finally we took him to the store and let him pick out his very own big boy underwear and just went cold turkey. The first couple of days he had quite a few accidents, but then all of a sudden it was like he had an epiphany that it was so fun to go on the potty! And now after a week and a half, he has maybe one accident a day. Mainly because he has to run in from outside or something. He gets so excited everytime he goes and he jumps up and down and says, "Good Job! I did a good job! I peed/pooped in the big toilet!" Then we do his ritual where he gives us a high five, fist pump (knuckles), and a thumbs "Bouyah". (If you ever watch Kramer, the stock market guy, you know what we are talking about.) We are so proud of him and to reward him for his "Good Job", we are celebrating by going to none other than his favorite place in the whole world (other than Disneyland)-Chuck E. Cheese's. Good Job Bryce-we are so proud of you!
