The Letter C

For the letter C we went to the family Cabin and somewhat Camped (if you call staying in a cabin camping ;D). It was so nice up the Canyon and so relaxing! The night we were there, we took the kids out in the boat, which was Emily's first time and she loved it, and went fishing. Bryce being the big fisherman he is, caught three fish, while grandpa caught two (both while reeling in his line when Bryce had a fish on) and daddy got skunked. ;)

The next morning, Bryce, daddy, and grandpa went out fishing again while the girls relaxed (and mommy and Emily slept in BIG TIME!). When Emily and I got up, we went for a walk and took pictures of the beautiful wildflowers. When the boys came back they said that Bryce caught four fish, daddy caught two little fish, and grandpa caught a couple of fish. I guess we now know who the "real" fisherman is in the family!

After we ate lunch, Bryce and I had "Bryce and Mommy time". We went on a walk also except Bryce was more interested in shooting "bad guys" than looking at the beautiful scenery. ;)

It was so nice to just get away from it all and to have a "hands on" learning experience at the same time.
