We get there and the kids walked back and forth looking at all the animals and what do they pick...monkeys! We're at Build - A - Bear and they pick out monkeys! Oh well, they were quite excited about them.
Build - A - Bear is a pretty cool place. I think us adults were having just as much fun as the kids were. Where was this place when we were kids!?
Anyway, the kids got to stuff the monkeys and clean them and dress them. Of course Bryce HAD to have the Darth Vader costume for his monkey (notice how he already had it picked out before his monkey was ready ;p) and Emily picked a Mrs. Claus outfit.
They then got to go to a computer and pick a name for their monkeys. Bryce named his Darth Vader Monkey and Emily named hers Mrs. Santa. Real original and creative...I know. ;P
The kids were so excited that they wouldn't let anyone else carry their boxes. Bryce was okay, but the box was almost as big as Emily and she was having troubles walking with it, but she insisted on holding it all the way home.I tried getting a picture of them when we got home, but Emily was grumpy and Bryce was still hyped up from the whole thing...so this is as good as it gets. :)
